I have been pondering a new bag - a step or two more expensive than my usual - for nearly 2 years. Every time I get severely tempted, I swap to another bag in my collection. I also find the act of putting things on a wishlist / modifying the wishlist is a good distraction! It’s a tricky one.
I gravitate towards statement bags already, so no extras embellishments for me. I do like the look of a top handle with scarf handles.
I combat wardrobe ennui by decluttering. I have a never ending obsession with clothes. I will hone in on something and then buy variations. And then one day im over it, and get rid of all the variations to go back down to just the first one.
I am not a bag person at all (I seriously suck at bags even though I have plenty of them), but you managed to spark something in me! Maybe it's time that I just look at them differently.
It's very freeing to experiment with accessories this way! Breaking out of 'originally intended configurations' lets you re-design your own pieces for your life :D PS would love to see some of your accessories on SST.
They pop up pretty regularly at a discount on resale. Great quality for the price imo. Really wish these weren't a limited edition offering — they're so universally versatile!

It's definitely a fine line to walk! The act of writing something down is really transformative. I'm super curious, which bag are you considering?
I have been thinking about that Coach bag for literally years… time to track one down!!

Clearly I gravitate towards very simple/unadorned bags, with built-in options for future accoutrements, ha!

So fun!! Love how you did this.
We are kindred spirits in our love of accessories for our accessories!
Going to keep an eye out for those Coach straps!
